Rav Saidha

Director, Retail Derivatives Forum (RDF)

Speaker Bio

Rav Saidha is the Director and Founder of the Retail Derivatives Forum (RDF), a coalition of leading brokers, technology vendors, and consultants representing the retail OTC derivatives sector on global regulatory reporting. Concurrently, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer at OANDA, leading global operations, operational and AI transformation.

Rav established the RDF in 2017 to resolve the structural misalignments between transaction reporting frameworks (such as MiFIR and EMIR) and retail products like CFDs and spread bets. Under his leadership, the RDF has become an authoritative voice for the industry, actively shaping regulatory guidance, consultation outcomes, and reporting policy across major supervisory authorities, including the FCA, ESMA, ASIC, MAS, and the OSC.

With nearly two decades of senior derivatives experience across trading, compliance, and technology, Rav is recognized as a leading subject matter expert on market reporting architecture. He is designated as a key industry stakeholder on the FCA and Bank of England’s Transaction Reporting taskforce and serves on the ANNA-DSB Product Committee.

Rav holds a First Class Honours degree in Banking and International Finance from Bayes Business School and the University of Illinois, and is a CIMA-qualified accountant.
