Caring for People

At Strate, it is in our DNA to proudly live beyond a bottom-line approach, passionately giving back to society with initiatives that have changed lives over the years. We embrace giving back to the community because we understand how one small act can make such a big difference. Even during tough economic times, our philosophy is to be financially generous in order to play our part in improving the South Africa economy. During 2012, Strate continued to support worthy causes and charities in line with the SED policy of spending 1% of Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) to the identified charity organisations.

During 2012 Strate contributed R780 000 to various initiatives which include the following:

The JSE Liberty Life challenge is a game that aims to teach South African learners and students about investing on the JSE and the larger role that such investment plays in the country's economy.
