Strate's Mentorship Programme aims to grow and develop staff that show promise, passion and leadership potential within the organisation.
Strate believes that utilising a process of on-the-job training is indespensable in coordinating business growth and team dynamics. Strate has adopted the principles of FranklinCovey as a self, leadership and management methodology within the organisation during 2009. The Mentorship Programme is aligned to this methodology. Interventions for mentee's are designed to align the paradigms, language, skills and tools with EXCO and the organisation.
The 2010 Mentorship Programme will focus on general and specific leadership skills required for managers at Strate. It's focus is to enhance the overall quality of leadership within the organisation.
Ten new mentees have succesfully been selected, and will join the 15 mentees from 2009 on this exciting journey. These 25 individuals will be required to meet with their mentors once a month to discuss topics of interest and to clear the path for one another. The mentees will also be involved in several Corporate Social Investment initiatives such as Valued Citizens, Ebenezer and Cell C Take a Girl Child to Work Day.
